United Way of Central Kentucky is hosting a week-long Day of Action on June 19th- 25th. Day of Action is an opportunity to volunteer and help our local nonprofits, schools, and churches complete projects that they wouldn’t normally be able to finish without the help of the community. The goal is to recruit hundreds of volunteers within Hardin, Breckinridge, Grayson, LaRue and Meade Counties to help complete these projects....

United Way is not legally set up to provide direct services to individuals but we are committed to serving the hundreds of community members who reach out to us needing assistance each year. We refer people to our funded partners and other community resources who specialize in working with clients and can more efficiently provide this service.
