UWCK Volunteer of the Year
Mr. Nelson L. Kelley
We have been so very moved by Mr. Nelson L. Kelley's commitment to UWCK's Community Impact in Education, Income, and Health-- that we have decided to create the Nelson L. Kelley Volunteer of the Year Award in his honor. For your United Way, Nelson has devotedly served as a volunteer for more than 15 years, including his time as a Big Brother through Big Brothers Big Sisters, Inc. He also served as the UWCK Campaign Chairperson in 2003, UWCK Board Chair in 2007 and most recently as the Interim Executive Director. Nelson embodies the spirit of volunteerism and selflessness, and he is a true, shining example of the United Way movement. This award will be given to a new United Way volunteer recipient after the conclusion of each campaign, beginning this fall 2010.
