Day of Action 2016

The United Way Week Long Day of Action kicked off on June 19th and lasted the entire week! A variety of projects at non-profit organizations, schools, and churches including painting the town square, hosting a mobile food pantry, sprucing up landscaping, holding a food drive, and making repairs on a house, were available for individuals, families and company teams to choose their Day of Action. Over 93 volunteers gave 265 hours of their time in 11 different locations throughout Hardin, Grayson, LaRue, and Meade Counties. SpringHaven, the Grayson County Alliance, the Hardin County Adult Education Center, Breck-Grayson Programs, and the Meade County Ministerial Association were among the locations.
