After a successful transformation to Panther Place last year,
Project United is back for round two! The United Way of
Central Kentucky is hosting another competition to see which
company can create the most impressive makeover to one room at
the American Red Cross in Elizabethtown on October 12th or Fort
Knox on October 13th.
The American Red Cross provides vital services to Breckinridge,
Hardin, Grayson, LaRue, Meade and Ft. Knox communities. It helps
families get back on their feet after suffering the devastation
and destruction of a natural disaster, houses a lifesaving blood
donation center, and provides an assortment of classes to train in
CPR, health and safety, and preparing for disasters. The Ft. Knox
location also provides housewares, clothes, and toys to soldiers
and their families.
There is an entrance fee of $500 per team, but 100% of it will
be returned to the team in the form of a gift card to fund the
renovations. If you are unable to participate, we are also seeking
sponsors to help ensure the success of Project United.
Please contact Medley Byers to register at (270) 737-6608 or
by emailing
mbyers@unitedwayck.org.
Register early because room space is limited. Be advised
that the United Way cannot hold space for a company until
they have paid the entry fee. Registration ends September 28th.
